Phil joined Geminatio after 19 years at Dow and 3M with a strong background in materials for advanced semiconductor patterning. At Dow, he led the directed self-assembly (DSA) portfolio and developed several additional spin-on materials for pattern shrink and enhancement. He finished his time at Dow as a Fellow with technical leadership for catalysis and new product development for Dow’s >$4B Polyolefin Elastomers portfolio. Phil then joined 3M in 2019 as a Staff Scientist in the Corporate Research Materials Laboratory, where he spent two years largely developing new materials for 3M’s Electronic Materials Division.
Phil holds 95 US Patents with >100 pending published applications and has coauthored three book chapters and more than 40 journal publications. His research has been featured 5 times in Chemical & Engineering News, including a highlight in the 2006 Year in Review Special Issue.
